What is PRP Treatment?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous plasma concentration with a higher count of platelets in whole blood. The effectiveness of PRP is attributed to the growth factors released from the platelets. PRP has gained attention as a promising treatment for hair loss. During the procedure, your scalp will be numbed, and sometimes a micro-needling step is included, where superficial incisions are made along the thinning hairline.
